The Power of Advertising

We at Flintriver have had our eyes glued to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, mainly because of our new found love of curling, thanks to our amazing client The Royal Caledonian Curling Club.

Back in October we launched a brilliant website, www.trycurling.com, which was aimed at encouraging people to learn about and try out the sport.

If you have been watching the action, you may have heard the commentators mention the website a few times. We have been monitoring the activity of the website and as you can see from the screenshot below, the results have been staggering. Spikes are clearly visible and coincide with the mentions on the BBC. This demonstrates just how powerful advertising can be.
