Following a referral, Flintriver were approached by the Inverness office of property consultants Bidwells to put forward proposals for the redesign of the layout and display within a highland visitor centre on the Strathconon Highland Estate, Ross-shire

With part-funding from Scottish Natural Heritage, and overseen by them, the main focus of the project was to transform a very basic facility to a fresh, clearly laid out first point of contact for casual visitors, walkers, etc; to provide information on access to the estate's land, the community, the area’s history, flora and fauna & sporting activities, as well as promoting ongoing estate management initiatives.

In addition to being responsible for the concept and execution, Flintriver also commissioned the specialist copywriting and sourced relevant historic and natural history photography. The display - themed colourful graphic panels ranging in size up to 1.5m square - are attached to the rustic walls of the building via a contemporary unobtrusive rail and fixed rod system.
