Branding, Digital, Marketing and…Us!

We’ve been merrily working away here at Flintriver HQ and thought it about time we got you all up to speed with our goings on with a wee blog piece! It’s been a great year for us here, welcoming a new member of staff, Scott “wizz kid” Carmichael our brilliant web developer as well as a new baby (okay, it’s not quite ours, it’s our web designer Liam’s!). With Scott’s arrival the digital side of the business has grown exponentially, bringing on board new and challenging projects some of which are live and ready for your navigation!

Even though digital has been growing over the last couple of years our roots are very much still in graphic design where some new, prestigious client wins have meant the team have been involved in some really exciting projects!

A client we’re really excited about working with is the iconic Hamilton Grand, a prestigious building converted into luxury apartments, owned & managed by the Old Course Hotel (Kohler), more here, where our on-going relationship has included design work for a murder mystery event and international targeted advertising.

Closer to home, our work with Summer Harvest, a Perthshire Rapeseed Oil producer, has been really exciting, to connect with a brand that has a firm foothold in its customer’s hearts has been rewarding beyond measure and we’re really looking forward to seeing the result of some hard work on their brand, label design and website!

It’s not all about the shiny new clients though, oh no! Earlier this year we were tasked with the signage and display graphics for the renovated 18th Green Shop for St Andrews Links Trust. This follows on from the design & production of surface wall graphics  we did for the beautiful Tom Morris Building last year. Some fabulous pictures of the 18th Green shop job can be seen on the St Andrews Links Trust blog http://blog.standrews.com/new-look-for-18th-green-shop/.

Other projects going on in the studio include the design of marketing materials for a new town development in Aberdeenshire with Stephen Homes, a venture into the world of the iBeacon and official Open Championship 2015 merchandise!

Stay tuned folks, we most certainly will!
